Job Description

ETI Precision is looking for a talented calibration technician to join its team in Charlotte! This is a full-time role offering competitive pay and great benefits. Calibration Technician - Level0/Level I/Level II/Level III will test, calibrate, and troubleshoot a variety of test and measurement instruments. This critical equipment is maintained and periodically calibrated for accuracy, reliability, and conformance to established industry and customer standards. As a calibration technician, you will be relied upon by both our customers and your colleagues within an environment that values professional development opportunities.

Location: On-site at various customer sites in Huntersville, NC and surrounding areas. Occasionally at our office in Huntersville, NC.

Key Responsibilities:

The Calibration Technician - Level I/Level II/Level III will primarily be responsible for the calibration of electronic and mechanical test equipment, at our customers’ facilities. This job requires travel. Key responsibilities include:

  • Plan the sequence of testing and calibration procedures.
  • Calibrate, adjust, and troubleshoot problems with customers’ equipment, including electrical, mechanical, pressure, torque, environmental, dimensional, and radio frequency instrumentation.
  • Create, update, and maintain data sheets for test equipment.
  • Maintain customer, vendor, and equipment databases.
  • Manage customer relationships, ensure customer satisfaction, and drive the timely turnaround of equipment.

Education, Experience & Requirements:

  • Level II and above: at least two years of experience in a related field required. Electronics technician experience strongly preferred. Electrical, electronic, or mechanical calibration experience as well as military PMEL, METCAL, or TMDE training preferred.
  • Level II and above: technical knowledge of electronic principles. Experience using diagrams, schematics, engineering data, and test equipment is preferred.
  • Ability and willingness to travel to customers’ locations throughout the United States for up to one week at a time.
  • An entrepreneurial attitude and desire to grow within an organization.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and pass a background security check.
  • Ability and willingness to travel to customer locations with frequent overnight, out-of-state travel, Monday through Friday, up to 80% of the year. This may also include rare weekend travel.

Pay Information:

  • Level 0 starts at $26.
  • Level I starts at $27.
  • Level II starts at $28.
  • Level III starts at $32.
