This Position reports to:

Maintenance Manager


 

Your role and responsibilities (Mandatory)

In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead the processes in maintaining and preserving the efficiency of all equipment, production lines, and/or facilities, resulting in the optimization of technical and financial resources. Each day, you will oversee execution of ordinary and extraordinary maintenance of equipment, production lines, and/or facilities. You will also showcase your expertise by managing and updating technical documentation of equipment, production lines, and/or facilities.

You will be mainly accountable for:

  • Equipment Maintenance & Breakdown Management: Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on SPMs, robots, laser marking machines, and electro-pneumatic systems; troubleshoot electrical issues and minimize downtime through quick resolution.

  • Technical Support & Resolution: Diagnose complex equipment and facility problems, maintain optimal working condition of tools, fixtures, jigs, and support production teams to ensure consistent equipment performance and uptime. Documentation & Compliance: Maintain and update technical documentation, equipment history, calibration records, and ensure preventive maintenance compliance.

  • Continuous Improvement: Initiate improvement projects to reduce maintenance cost and frequency, enhance operational and energy efficiency, and support TPM, lean manufacturing, MTTR, and MTBF targets.

  • HSE & Performance Monitoring: Ensure strict adherence to HSE standards, promote a safe working environment, and track KPIs including equipment uptime, TPM metrics, and safety compliance.


Qualifications for the role (Mandatory)
  • Education: B.E. or Diploma in Electrical & Electronics Engineering.

  • Experience: Minimum 10 years of practical maintenance experience in switchgear or related electrical manufacturing industries.

  • PLC & Software Skills: Proficient in PLC programming, with working knowledge of C# and LabVIEW & SQL

  • Electrical Diagnostics and Repair: Extensive capability in diagnosing and resolving electrical and control system issues.

  • Automation & Robotics: Familiar with industrial automation, robotics, and electro-pneumatic systems.

  • Maintenance Planning: Experience in preventive maintenance planning, scheduling, and execution.

  • Spare Parts Management: Skilled in spare parts planning, inventory control, and procurement to ensure equipment availability
