Work Flexibility: Hybrid

The Communications Lead plays a critical role in ensuring employees are informed, engaged, and connected—especially as the organization evolves through new processes, technologies, and cultural initiatives. This role serves as a central communications owner across enterprise messaging, divisional initiatives, and site engagement; translating complex information into clear, actionable communications that drive understanding, adoption, and a strong sense of belonging.

This position offers a hybrid work flexibility based in Mahwah, NJ, with 2-3 days in office required.

1. Enterprise & Strategic Communications

  • Own and execute employee communications strategy across channels (newsletter, intranet, email)

  • Lead organizational announcements and ensure alignment with business priorities

  • Translate complex initiatives into clear, employee-friendly messaging

  • Serve as Connect owner and Marketo super user

  • Establish and uphold communication standards, processes, and approvals

2. Site Communications & Culture (Mahwah)

  • Act as the primary owner of Mahwah site communications

  • Drive awareness and communication for site initiatives and events, including:

    • Take Your Kid to Work Day (TYKTOWD)

    • Employee Appreciation events

    • Site milestones and community moments

  • Reinforce site culture, engagement, and employee connection

  • Manage site communication channels (e.g., monitors, emails)

3. Employee Engagement & Experience

  • Own employee newsletter strategy, execution, and performance (global and site-specific)

  • Support employee initiatives such as pulse surveys and engagement programs through communication plans and engaging communications

  • Coordinate communication plans for internal events, meetings, and activations

  • Ensure employees feel informed, included, and equipped – monitor through surveys

  • Employees clearly understand organizational priorities, changes, and expectations

  • High engagement across communication channels and site initiatives including, consistently reporting on metrics

  • Strong participation in inclusion programs and events

  • Effective adoption of new technologies and processes

  • Trusted, consistent communication ownership across enterprise, site, and other initiative.

Required

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 4+ years of work experience 
  • 2+ years of experience supporting communications, marketing, public relations, and employee engagement
  • Experience managing internal communication channels, including newsletters, email communications, or, intranet platforms.

Preferred

  • Experience with email marketing, content management, or communication management platforms.
  • Experience developing communication plans and reporting communication performance metrics.
  • Experience supporting site-wide events, employee programs, or workplace culture initiatives.

  

 

United States of America Pay Ranges:

  • US20: $93,200 - $155,400 USD Annual
