Our deep understanding of the immune system – and innovative pipeline – enables us to invent medicines and vaccines that treat and protect millions of people around the world. Together, we chase the miracles of science to improve people's lives.
Main responsibilities
Own the data governance and master data management framework for talent acquisition, learning, and employee survey domains — setting global standards, data models, and quality rules across Workday Recruitment, Cornerstone, Qualtrics, and Snowflake
Lead data governance for the Workday Recruitment Module end-to-end — covering candidate lifecycle, requisition management, offer data, and recruiting analytics
Ensure candidate, learning, and survey data is privacy-compliant, GDPR-ready, and governed through auditable change management processes — including data access policies and security classifications
Drive the data foundation strategy in Snowflake — defining pipelines, data sharing protocols, and consumption layer structures that enable talent analytics, learning effectiveness reporting, and employee engagement insights
Partner with Global Process Owners, HR Transformation, Technology Strategy, and Data Analytics teams to translate business needs into data requirements — and ensure data is structured and reliable for AI and advanced analytics
Lead, coach, and develop a team of three data professionals — covering data standards, quality monitoring, and AI readiness across all three domains
Champion data quality and AI readiness — leading root cause investigations, automating validation where possible, and monitoring adoption of global data standards
About you
Experience: Proven background in data governance, master data management, or HR data analytics, with demonstrated experience leading a team of data professionals
Technical skills: Deep, hands-on expertise in Workday HCM and the Workday Recruitment Module — including candidate lifecycle, requisition management, and recruiting analytics — this is a core requirement; Workday HCM Pro and Workday Recruitment Module certifications required
Platform knowledge: Experience with Cornerstone or a comparable learning management system; familiarity with Qualtrics or similar employee survey platforms; experience with Snowflake or equivalent data foundation platforms
Data governance: Hands-on experience with data cataloging, data lineage management, and data quality monitoring tools (e.g. Informatica Cloud Data Governance Catalog or similar)
Compliance: Working knowledge of data privacy requirements, particularly GDPR as it applies to candidate and employee data
Collaboration: Demonstrated ability to work in a partnering model — contributing deep data expertise while respecting business ownership held by process owners and senior stakeholders
Education: Degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Human Resources, Data Management, or a related field; Master's degree preferred
