主なステークホルダーは、産業顧客、EPC、OEM、ユーティリティ企業、チャネルパートナー、国内および地域の経営層、プロダクトマネジメント、サービスチーム、オペレーション部門です。

主な責務

  • 組織全体のコマーシャル面での成功を統合的に実現し、事業成長、市場シェア拡大、および業績・成長目標の達成を推進する
  • 事業コマーシャル戦略、業界セグメント戦略、Go-to-Marketモデルの策定・実行・見直しを行い、徹底的に推進する
  • 収益性、需要分析、Cost-to-Serve、チャネル収益性、ROI(投資収益率)に注力し、生産性最適化および資本効率向上を推進する
  • 市場動向をモニタリングし、競合および業界分析を定期的に経営層へ提供し、コマーシャル機会に基づいた効果的な事業計画の立案に貢献する

  • 営業戦略立案、キーアカウントマネジメント、コマーシャルリーダーシップにおいて高いスキルを有し、産業オートメーション、ドライブ、エネルギー関連産業での業務に精通している方
  • 営業リーダーシップ、事業開発、またはコマーシャルマネジメント分野で10~15年の経験を有する方
    (例:セールスディレクター、カントリーヘッド、事業責任者としてドライブ、モーター、パワーエレクトロニクス分野での経験)
  • CRMツール(例:Salesforce)、フォーキャスティングツール、営業パフォーマンス管理システムに関する知識を有する方
  • リーダーシップ、人材育成、顧客対応、成果創出に対して高い意欲を持つ方
  • 工学、ビジネス、または関連分野の学士号(MBA尚可)
  • 日本語能力試験一級レベルの日本語およびビジネスレベルの英語でのコミュニケーション能力

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead both local and regional commercial teams for ABB’s Motion High Power Drives business. Each day, you will be accountable for the commercial deployment of the organization across Japan. You will also showcase your expertise by leading the design and implementation of the business commercial strategy to drive growth and market leadership.

The work model for the role is: Hybrid

This role is contributing to the Motion High Power Drives Business Area in Japan.
Main stakeholders are industrial customers, EPCs, OEMs, utilities, channel partners, local and regional leadership teams, product management, service teams, and operations.

You will be mainly accountable for:

  • Ensuring the integrated commercial success of the organization in order to drive business growth, market share, and achievement of organizational performance and growth objectives
  • Creating, implementing, reviewing, and relentlessly executing the business commercial strategy, industry segment strategy, and go-to-market model
  • Driving appropriate productivity optimization and capital efficiency, with special focus on profitability, demand analysis, cost-to-serve, channel profitability, and return on investment
  • Monitoring market trends and providing regular competitor and industry analysis to the leadership team to create effective business plans based on commercial opportunities

Qualifications for the role

  • You are highly skilled in sales strategy development, key account management, and commercial leadership, and enjoy working within the industrial automation, drives, and energy-intensive industries market
  • You have 10–15 years of experience in sales leadership, business development, or commercial management
    (Optional: working as Sales Director, Country Head, or Business Unit Leader with drives, motors, or power electronics technologies)
  • You possess strong knowledge of CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce), forecasting tools, and sales performance management systems
  • You are passionate about leadership, team development, customer engagement, and driving business results
  • You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field (MBA preferred)
  • You are at ease communicating in Japanese (JLPT N1/fluent) and English (business level)
  • You hold valid work authorization for Japan (visa/work permit if applicable)
