This role is responsible for maintaining lean, cost-effective, and high-quality material inventories by determining material specifications, building and maintaining inventory plans, coordinating with internal stakeholders, and managing external supplier relationships.

GE Aerospace Engine Services Malaysia (GEESM) in Subang plays a vital role in ensuring the safety and performance of aviation fleets every day. Work location: Subang and will be stationed at Sepang from Q4 2026.

Role Overview:

• Plan, develop, implement, and evaluate processes for material delivery to point of fit to ensure continuous supply to production.

• Tracking production volume and monitoring customer demand patterns and purchasing trends.

• Liaise with vendors and OEMs to follow up on delivery status of spares purchases and to expedite deliveries via phone calls outside working hours, where necessary.

• Utilize Material Requirements Planning system (MRP) in SAP.

• Monitor materials flow to identify bottlenecks and forecast problems.

• Ensuring materials meet specifications, quality standards, and are cost-efficient by vendor selection.

• Understand and manage risks to minimize impact on production schedule. Take follow up actions in relation to material shortages that affect production.

• Oversee the effective delivery of end-to-end service globally ensuring the proper execution of the P2P process: from requisition handling to PO placement and tracking, to PO changes, to PO close.

• Preparing and generating weekly report of inventory status, stock requisition analysis, and forecasting.

• Liaise with customer representative team for part fulfilment approvals.

Ideal Candidate:

Has at least 3 years of experience in similar roles and familiar with excel functions.

Required Qualifications:

• Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance, Mathematic, Statistics, Engineering or closely related field required.

• Minimum 3 years working experience in material planning, purchasing or relevant supply chain preferably in aviation/manufacturing.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and SAP. VBA and programming skill is an advantage.

• Strong analytical concept.
