This role is part of Alcon's Manufacturing function, a team that designs, produces and delivers innovative eyecare products to more than 140 countries through operational excellence and efficiency. The Associate Supervisor II, Production Management (Management Path), is primarily responsible for handling complex supervisory tasks, supporting daily operations, and ensuring a safe work environment. You will lead production activities, develop schedules, allocate resources, and foster a culture of excellence.
Specifics Include:
• Assist the supervisor in overseeing team members and supporting daily operations
• Manage production activities, including assembly, material forming/shaping, processing, treating, or packaging to meet established specifications, schedules, volume/cost/wastage targets, and quality standards
• Liaise with Manufacturing Engineering, Supply & Logistics, Sales, and other departments to develop production schedules and allocate labor/capital resources
• Plan, prioritize, and manage production line maintenance and downtime to minimize disruptions
• Lead and/or participate in quality investigations and deliver continuous improvement
• Assure a safe work environment and develop pipeline talent
• Foster a culture of excellence by leading performance management, driving talent development, ensuring positive employee relations, and enhancing employee engagement and recognition
• Make significant decisions affecting daily tasks, directly impacting team performance and operational efficiency
• Adhere to Good Practice (GxP) regulations by strictly following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), maintaining accurate and complete documentation, ensuring rigorous quality control, and completing all required training

Qualifications:
- 2-3 years of experience
- Fluency in English
- Bachelor's Degree preferably in Engineering
- Basic computer skills
