Job Description

The Company

Dexcom Corporation (NASDAQ DXCM) is a pioneer and global leader in continuous glucose monitoring (CGM). Dexcom began as a small company with a big dream: To forever change how diabetes is managed. To unlock information and insights that drive better health outcomes. Here we are 25 years later, having pioneered an industry. And we're just getting started. We are broadening our vision beyond diabetes to empower people to take control of health. That means personalized, actionable insights aimed at solving important health challenges. To continue what we've started: Improving human health.

We are driven by thousands of ambitious, passionate people worldwide who are willing to fight like warriors to earn the trust of our customers by listening, serving with integrity, thinking big, and being dependable. We've already changed millions of lives and we're ready to change millions more. Our future ambition is to become a leading consumer health technology company while continuing to develop solutions for serious health conditions. We'll get there by constantly reinventing unique biosensing-technology experiences. Though we've come a long way from our small company days, our dreams are bigger than ever. The opportunity to improve health on a global scale stands before us.

Meet the team:

The Dexcom Medical Affairs Value, Evidence & Outcomes (VEO) team plays a critical role in translating evidence into meaningful insights that demonstrate the real‑world value of Dexcom solutions. We’re a collaborative, cross‑functional group focused on clearly communicating clinical, health economic, and outcomes evidence to payer, value‑based, and healthcare system stakeholders.

If you’re passionate about healthcare innovation, enjoy solving complex challenges, and want to make a regional impact, this is the team for you.

Where you come in:

Design & Visual Storytelling

  • You create clear, compelling presentations and visual materials for Medical Affairs, focused on evidence and value storytelling.

  • You translate clinical, economic, and real‑world evidence into visuals that are easy to understand and tailored to different audiences.

  • You help communicate the healthcare, economic, and patient value of Dexcom solutions, especially for payer and value‑based stakeholders.

Presentation & Graphic Design

  • You design high‑quality PowerPoint presentations, templates, charts, tables, infographics, and other visual content.

  • You turn draft narratives, scientific content, and source materials into clear storyboards and visual concepts.

  • You apply and maintain consistent formatting, branding, and design standards across all materials.

Content Development & Quality Control

  • You convert approved content into accurate, polished, and audience‑appropriate materials.

  • You ensure all outputs meet Medical Affairs standards for accuracy, clarity, and visual quality.

  • You perform quality checks to confirm content is fit for purpose and easy to interpret.

Multi‑Format Content Support

  • You develop materials across formats including presentations, discussion guides, newsletters, webinar assets, conference content, digital resources, and print materials.

  • You support scientific meetings and webinars by creating visuals that clearly explain study design, results, and implications.

Collaboration & Project Management

  • You partner closely with Medical Affairs leaders, cross‑functional teams, and design partners.

  • You manage multiple projects at once, balancing timelines and priorities to deliver high‑quality work on time.

Content Optimization & Asset Management

  • You update and repurpose existing materials to ensure consistency in messaging, design, and references.

  • You help maintain an organized, searchable library of approved slides and visual assets to improve reuse and efficiency.

  • You use design tools, visualization platforms, and emerging technologies (including AI where appropriate) to improve speed, quality, and impact.

What makes you successful:

  • You bring 5-8 years of experience in presentation and graphic design, ideally within a corporate, healthcare, medical, scientific, or evidence‑based environment.

  • You are comfortable working with senior leaders and cross‑functional teams, translating complex ideas into clear, visually compelling materials.

  • You are highly skilled in Microsoft PowerPoint, with strong working knowledge of Word and Excel, and hands‑on experience using Adobe Creative Cloud tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign. Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, Think‑Cell, or similar) and platforms like Canva is valued. You are comfortable working across Mac and Windows environments and have experience with slide formatting, layout design, and animation.

  • You have a strong eye for visual storytelling, information hierarchy, and design consistency. Confident simplifying complex medical, scientific, clinical, economic, or outcomes‑based information without losing accuracy or intent.

  • You bring strong written and verbal communication skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects, timelines, revisions, and shifting priorities in a fast‑paced environment.

  • You have working knowledge of basic data analysis and interpretation, including presenting study results, evidence summaries, and references in a clear and credible way. Experience supporting Medical Affairs, payer, market access, or other evidence‑focused healthcare teams is a plus, as is experience with webinars, scientific conferences, discussion guides, newsletters, digital resources, or print‑ready materials is highly preferred.

  • You are curious, agile, and eager to learn—able to quickly become familiar with new subject matter, terminology, and business contexts. Experience with instructional design or adult learning principles, interactive or digital content, microsites, or reusable content libraries is beneficial.

  • Prior experience in CGM, diabetes, or healthcare is helpful but not required.
