Work location: Subang and will be stationed at Sepang in 2027.
Role Overview:
Lead end-to-end material planning and delivery to point of fit, ensuring continuous supply to production.
Implement, and evaluate processes for material delivery to point of fit to ensure continuous supply to production.
Tracking production volume and monitoring customer demand patterns and purchasing trends to develop accurate short- and mid-term material forecasts and proactively adjust plans
Liaise with vendors and OEMs to driving on-time delivery performance through regular reviews, escalation, and expediting (including off-hours interventions for critical parts
Utilize Material Requirements Planning system (MRP) in SAP (lead times, safety stock, lot sizes) to balance material availability, inventory levels, and cost)
Monitor materials flow to identify bottlenecks and forecast problems and implementing corrective actions to prevent line stoppages and schedule slippage.
Ensuring materials meet specifications, quality standards, and are cost-efficient by vendor selection.
Oversee the effective delivery of end-to-end service globally ensuring the proper execution of the P2P process: from requisition handling to PO placement and tracking, to PO changes, to PO close.
Preparing and generating weekly report of inventory status, stock requisition analysis, and forecasting.
Manage material risk and shortages, coordinating cross-functionally to implement mitigation plans, recovery schedules, and communication to stakeholders when production is at risk.
Act as primary liaison with customer representatives for part fulfillment approvals and status updates, ensuring transparency and rapid resolution of issues impacting customer commitments.
Lead inventory management strategy to balance material availability with working capital, ensuring optimal stock levels that support production while improving cash flow efficiency
Ideal Candidate:
The ideal candidate is a proven lead material planner who drives uninterrupted production by mastering SAP MRP, optimizing inventory for efficient cash flow, and proactively managing suppliers and risks to deliver on quality, cost, and on-time performance.
Required Qualifications:
Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance, Mathematic, Statistics, Engineering or closely related field required.
Minimum 5 years working experience in material planning, purchasing or relevant supply chain preferably in aviation/manufacturing.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and SAP. VBA and programming skill is an advantage.
Strong analytical concept.
