Summary:
The Director, Nursing – Emergency Services shall be responsible to plan, organize, direct, coordinate, and evaluate the activities of one or more specific nursing units. As a member of the Nursing Service Executive Team, the Director has input into Nursing Service long- and short-term goals and objectives, policy development, and priority setting. The Director is responsible for communicating these activities to the staff.
Education/Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing required, Master’s degree preferred. Minimum 5-7 years progressive experience in nursing and nursing management required.
Licensure/Certification:
Active RN licensure required, BLS required, ACLS required
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

- Ability to work from broad directions and be self-motivated.
