About the role
Responsibilities:
- Under supervision of Trust Advisor, interpret trust and will documents and applicable law to ensure the proper set-up of account records, including payments, fee schedules (when appropriate) and tax records. Communicate with beneficiaries and co-executors or co-trustees to outline administrative procedures.
- Under supervision of Trust Advisor, handle ongoing day-to-day administration of accounts, including coordinating and facilitating transactions, new account openings, trust terminations, and account reviews while proactively manage account base to avoid and minimize service and operational issues.
- Works closely with Trust Advisor to act as a key point of contact for clients and their advisors. May prepare client presentation materials and participate in client meetings.
- Assist the Trust Advisor to maintain current information on beneficiaries and their changing needs and circumstances to provide superior client service.
- Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Three years of experience in the wealth management industry required. Experience in the administration and support of trust and estates space preferred.
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience.
- Certified Trust and Financial Advisor (CTFA) designation (or ability to obtain within departmental guidelines) or Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation required.
