Job Description:
As an Inventory Controller at UPS Venlo, you’re responsible for analyzing and optimizing the stock in our warehouse. You initiate and organize daily stock checks, proactively scan system inventories and system orders to detect irregularities in inventories. Discrepancies arise? You make sure to investigate them in our customer systems and solve them accordingly.
What you'll do
- You initiate and organize daily stock checks, cycle counts and wall-to-wall counts;
- You keep an eye on system inventories and system order processing to detect irregularities in inventories;
- You produce and improve management reports showing inventory levels, count results, error categories and root causes of inaccuracies;
- You hold regular meetings with key employees involved to discuss count results, root causes and corrective actions. Follow-up of agreed corrective actions;
- You initiate process and system improvements to decrease probability of occurrence of stock inaccuracies;
- You communicate on a regular basis with the warehouse floor and the office, being the team leaders, the warehouse manager, and the purchasing department;
- You deliver daily management reports to keep track of results.

What you'll need
- MBO educational level with knowledge of and experience within logistics;
- Experience with the Microsoft Office;
- Great communication skills: you easily build relationships with colleagues;
- Fluent in English. Additionally, fluency in Dutch is a plus;
- Flexibility to work in shifts (two shifts: 6:00 - 15:00 and 15:00 - 00:00)
