For more than 40 years, our advanced facilities in Singapore have led aerospace innovation across Asia Pacific. From automating processes to leveraging smart factory technologies, robotics, and additive manufacturing, GE Aerospace is shaping the future of aviation at GE Aerospace Engine Services Singapore (GEAESS).

GEAESS is our largest site for engine component Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO), responsible for more than 60% of our global repair volume.

Role Overview:

• The candidate will perform or assist the roles as per listed in the regulation governing workplace safety and health officer & fire safety manager duties and support site in protecting the environment.

• These include but not limited to :-.

• Develop & implement EHS programs and procedures to ensure compliance with all applicable regulations

• Conduct risk assessment, training and audit

• Implement required corrective /preventive measures based on audit finding, root cause analysis and trending analysis

• Develop & implement tracking programs and record keeping systems and administer EHS compliance tracking program

• Work with process owners to evaluate new product introduction, equipment and chemicals to ensure risks are properly assess and control measures are in place prior to use on site

• Support site security system implementation and enforcement.

• Any assignments given by Global Aviation EHS/Security

Ideal Candidate

A hands-on person with good understanding of EHS principles, regulatory requirements, and best practices, along with the ability to effectively communicate with diverse stakeholders. 

Required Qualifications

• Possess Bachelor Degree in Engineering / Science with minimum 1 year of relevant working experience or

• Possess Diploma in Engineering / Science from local Polytechnic with minimum 3 years of relevant working experience.

• Candidate who is currently pursuing WSQ Certificate / Specialist Diploma is preferred.
