An instrumental part of the enterprise brand team, this role will lead and implement Jefferson’s stake in marquee brand-building events, inclusive of sales to other prospective sponsors, liaison between those sponsors and project leadership, and support all administrative functions associated with the end-to-end execution of brand sponsorships.

Initial assignment will be the Jefferson Lehigh Valley Classic, requiring a dynamic and results-driven Sponsorship Sales & Operations Specialist to lead the development and execution of sponsorship sales strategies, ranging from $25,000 to $1.5+ million. This individual will also provide comprehensive administrative and operational support to ensure the successful execution of the tournament, which features top PGA TOUR Champions players.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Sponsorship Sales (Primary Focus – 70%)

  • Identify, cultivate, and secure corporate sponsorships at all levels, with a focus on high-value partnerships ($25,000 to $1M+).
  • Develop customized sponsorship proposals and presentations tailored to prospective partners’ marketing objectives.
  • Manage the full sales cycle: prospecting, pitching, negotiating, closing, and servicing.
  • Organize promotional opportunities through onsite activation and partner golf outings.
  • Maintain CRM records and track all sales activities, pipeline status, and contract deliverables.
  • Collaborate with marketing and creative teams to ensure sponsor branding and activation is executed flawlessly.
  • Foster long-term relationships with sponsors to encourage renewals and upsells.

Administrative & Operational Support (30%)

  • Assist with day-to-day administrative tasks including scheduling, correspondence, and reporting.
  • Work with the sponsorship directors and planning team on sponsorship deliverables / follow up.
  • Support event logistics including vendor coordination, volunteer management, and hospitality planning.
  • Help manage timelines, budgets, and compliance with associated sport leagues, groups, or governing bodies.
  • Coordinate with internal departments and external stakeholders to ensure seamless event execution.
