Job Description

Who we are looking for

The Order to Cash (O2C) process is one of the most critical, cross‑functional value streams in a global enterprise, spanning Sales, Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, and Customer Experience. It directly impacts revenue realization, cash flow, customer satisfaction, and overall operational efficiency.

As transaction volumes increase and business models evolve, functional optimization alone is no longer sufficient. Bose is establishing a dedicated Business Process Owner – Order to Cash to provide end‑to‑end accountability for the performance, design, and continuous transformation of the global O2C process. A defining aspect of this role is the applied use of process mining and AI‑enabled insights to gain objective visibility into process execution and drive fact‑based, cross‑functional improvement.

What You’ll Do

The Business Process Owner – Order to Cash owns the global O2C process end to end, from order capture through cash collection. The role sets the process vision, operating model, performance metrics, and transformation roadmap, and serves as the single business authority for how O2C operates and evolves across the enterprise.

By leveraging process intelligence, advanced analytics, and applied AI, the BPO drives simplification, standardization, and scalability—ensuring that decisions related to process design, automation, and digital enablement are grounded in data rather than functional silos or legacy practices.

What you will be responsibile for

End‑to‑End Process Ownership

  • Own global O2C process standards, controls, and performance outcomes across regions and business units.
  • Establish governance to prioritize improvements and resolve cross‑functional issues.
  • Act as the single point of accountability for O2C process performance.

Performance Management & Insights

  • Define and manage O2C KPIs, including order cycle time, invoice accuracy, dispute rates, Days Sales Outstanding (DSO), and cash application effectiveness.
  • Use process mining to identify bottlenecks, deviations, and conformance gaps.
  • Translate insights into quantified opportunities and prioritized improvement initiatives.

Process Optimization & Re‑engineering

  • Lead continuous improvement and end‑to‑end process redesign across order management, fulfillment, invoicing, and collections.
  • Identify root causes of delays, errors, and revenue leakage, and validate impact over time.
  • Partner with IT and Automation teams to enable simplified, standardized, and scalable workflows.

Applied AI & Automation

  • Champion AI‑enabled and intelligent automation use cases across the O2C lifecycle.
  • Prioritize opportunities such as predictive risk scoring, automated exception handling, and intelligent dispute resolution.
  • Ensure solutions deliver measurable business outcomes and align with governance and compliance standards.

Change & Stakeholder Leadership

  • Drive adoption through structured change management, communication, and training.
  • Influence senior stakeholders across Sales, Finance, Operations, and Technology without direct authority.
  • Foster a data‑driven, continuous improvement culture.

What we value

Education and experience

  • 10+ years of experience in Order to Cash, Finance Operations, Business Process Management, or related roles.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Operations, Information Systems, or related field required.
  • Proven ownership of complex, cross‑functional, end‑to‑end processes in a global environment.
  • Hands‑on experience with process mining, process intelligence, or advanced analytics.
  • Track record leading process transformation, automation, or digital finance initiatives.
  • MBA or advanced degree preferred.
