Band 6 Occupational Therapist – Acute Inpatient Services
Location: Crewe
Contract: Temporary
Hours: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM (flexible, weekend work may be required)
Our client is seeking an experienced Band 6 Occupational Therapist to join their dynamic team in Crewe. This role involves working within an acute inpatient setting, supporting patients through their recovery journey and ensuring safe, timely discharges.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality occupational therapy interventions within an acute inpatient environment.
- Support discharge planning and ensure effective pathways for patient transitions.
- Contribute to admission avoidance strategies, working collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team.
- Deliver patient-centered care, adapting to individual needs and goals.
- Participate in weekend and extended hours (8:00 AM – 6:00 PM), subject to discussion.
Requirements:
- HCPC registration as an Occupational Therapist.
- Proven experience in acute inpatient care.
- Strong understanding of discharge pathways and admission avoidance.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
