Your responsibilities
• Troubleshooting and repairing mechanical issues on various types of equipment such as crushers, screens, conveyors, and other heavy machinery.• Performing routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, filter replacements, and other preventative measures to ensure optimal performance of equipment.• Inspecting equipment for damage or wear and tear, and making recommendations for repairs or upgrades as necessary.• Collaborating with other technicians and team leader to diagnose and resolve complex problems.• Maintaining accurate records of work performed and parts used.• Adhering to safety protocols when working with potentially dangerous equipment.
Job Qualifications:• Technical Knowledge: Must have strong understanding of mechanical systems and components, including hydraulics, electrical systems, and engine operations.• Experience: Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role.• Education: Engineering diploma preferred but not required.• Other Skills/Abilities: Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and develop effective solutions.• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and move heavy objects and work at heights.• Communication Skills: Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with colleagues and management.
