Our location in Lake Forest, IL currently has an opportunity for a Supervisor Financial Planning and Analysis. This role will support Core Diagnostics HQ FP&A is responsible for the consolidation and reporting of financial results, including Rolling LBEs, Quarterly forecasts, and Confirmations. This team also leads the preparation of Division Plan and LBE presentation decks and plays a critical role in financial performance analysis and reporting to Corporate.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Support the Abbott Diagnostics Finance areas with a wide variety of financial analysis and projects.
- Responsible for the Consolidation and Reporting of Total Core Dx Sales to DVP Controller, including weekly, monthly, and LBE reporting periods.
- Responsible for consolidation and analysis of Total Core Dx Gross Margin for Actuals and LBE and provide supporting analysis.
- Prepare monthly and LBE reports for senior management.
- Support Global Commercial team, including sales reporting and monthly close tasks.
- Assist in identification and implementation of process improvements.
- Interaction with different levels of management, both finance and operational.
- Financial modeling with extensive use of Excel.
- Creation of SOPs (standard operating procedures) for repeatable tasks.
- Special Ad Hoc projects.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years finance/accounting experience
- Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in finance or accounting
- Must be proficient in MS Office (Excel and Powerpoint). Proficiency in HFM Smartview, and/or TM1 is a plus.
- Strong analytics, problem solving skills, and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as within a team
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
