Job Description

Why Harvey

At Harvey, we’re transforming how legal and professional services operate — not incrementally, but end-to-end. By combining frontier agentic AI, an enterprise-grade platform, and deep domain expertise, we’re reshaping how critical knowledge work gets done for decades to come.

This is a rare chance to help build a generational company at a true inflection point. With 1000+ customers in 60+ countries, strong product-market fit, and world-class investor support, we’re scaling fast and defining a new category in real time. The work is ambitious, the bar is high, and the opportunity for growth — personal, professional, and financial — is unmatched.

Our team is sharp, motivated, and deeply committed to the mission. We move fast, operate with intensity, and take real ownership of the problems we tackle — from early thinking to long-term outcomes. We stay close to our customers — from leadership to engineers — and work together to solve real problems with urgency and care. If you thrive in ambiguity, push for excellence, and want to help shape the future of work alongside others who raise the bar, we invite you to build with us.

At Harvey, the future of professional services is being written today — and we’re just getting started.

Role Overview

We're looking for a People Ops Coordinator to own the operational foundation of our HR function. This is a hands-on execution role: you'll live in Workday, manage the integrity of our employee data, support onboarding logistics, and keep core processes running accurately across a growing global workforce.

You'll work closely with the People Ops Lead and partner regularly with Payroll, Legal, and Total Rewards. The role is right for someone who takes real pride in clean data, moves quickly without cutting corners, and doesn't need a lot of direction once they understand the system.

What You'll Do

  • Maintain the integrity of our HR data across systems, including regular audits and resolving inconsistencies before they become problems

  • Support onboarding operations end-to-end — from pre-arrival logistics to day-one readiness to post-start follow-through

  • Build and maintain internal HR resources that help employees across regions find what they need

  • Administer employee lifecycle changes in Workday — new hires, job changes, departures — with accuracy and attention to downstream impact

  • Generate HR reports on request and support recurring compliance and operational reporting

  • Own operational pieces of People Ops projects as the team scales — process documentation, systems updates, etc.

  • Partner with Payroll, Legal, Total Rewards, and Benefits on cross-functional requests and process handoffs

What You Have

  • 1–3 years in HR, People Ops, or a related operations role

  • Experience with an HRIS — Workday strongly preferred

  • High attention to detail; you catch your own errors before anyone else does

  • Comfortable in a fast-moving environment where some processes are still being built

  • Able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines without things slipping

  • Clear communicator — you know how to flag a problem and follow up without being asked

Nice to Have

  • Familiarity with onboarding tooling or HRIS integrations

  • Prior experience in a startup or high-growth company

  • Exposure to global HR operations or multi-entity environments

Compensation

$72,000 - $98,000 USD
