Corteva has an exciting opportunity for a Production Technician to join our team at our Lethbridge, Canada facility. (Ability to move/shift from Chatham and Ridgetown locations.)

What You’ll Do:

  • Perform a wide range of production activities supporting seed operations, including harvesting, receiving, conditioning, treating, packaging, warehousing, shipping, and returns/rework, as directed by the supervisor.
  • Support harvesting operations such as green corn processing, sheller and dryer operations, and product sorting.
  • Complete packaging and rework activities, including bagging and product preparation.
  • Safely operate and monitor production equipment utilizing PLC-based automation systems.
  • Accurately enter and track data—including testing results, downtime, and quality observations—using SAP/R3 and HMI systems.
  • Execute warehouse functions such as inventory management and required inventory transactions; operate forklifts as needed.
  • Adhere to all Quality and Safety standards, including participation in the development, review, and follow-through of procedures.
  • Perform general equipment repair and maintenance tasks as assigned.

Education:

·         High School Diploma/GED.

What Skills You Need:

  • Ability to work across multiple environments, including fields, plant, and warehouse.
  • Comfort with technology, including Microsoft Office, and willingness to learn company systems.
  • Ability to perform the physical requirements of the role, with or without reasonable accommodation (e.g., lifting up to 50 lbs., working at heights, repetitive motion, and working in varied indoor/outdoor conditions).
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
  • Strong communication, organization, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment and following all safety procedures.
  • Flexibility to work rotating shifts, overtime, and nights/weekends during seasonal production peaks.

What Makes You Stand Out:

  • Two‑year technical or associate degree in agriculture, manufacturing, operations, or a related field.
  • Experience in operations, manufacturing, agriculture, or operating equipment such as tractors, plows, or forklifts.
