Your team:
The Global Product Solutions (GPS) business innovates and curates all of BlackRock’s investment solutions to bring the right products and solutions, in the right way, at the right time, to help our clients meet their goals. The team is responsible for oversight of active and index strategies across ETFs, mutual funds, and separate accounts, spanning liquid and illiquid assets in both public and private markets. As a member of this team, you will help to drive the next phase of growth for our global product platform and the entire firm.
Your role and impact:
As part of the Americas Active team within GPS, you will cultivate deep product and industry expertise to innovate transformative products and solutions, and commercialize BlackRock’s extensive active product platform. This individual will contribute to the product agenda for each asset class across the liquid active business by developing long-term growth strategy, leading innovation and product development for new concepts, including Active ETFs.
This is a multifaceted, high-profile role that requires frequent interaction at the most senior levels of the firm to change the face of our product set. You will work closely with global investor, client-facing, product marketing, legal, and other operational teams on exciting projects across the full product lifecycle that drive significant growth of BlackRock’s active business. The successful candidate will be an indispensable partner to these teams and will benefit from inclusion in a large, globally diverse product organization, with access to a broad range of skills and expertise that contribute to a deep understanding of client motivations, strategy development and fund structuring across regions and sales channels.
Your responsibilities:
- Crafting and implementing asset class and product platform growth strategy aligned to firmwide priorities alongside partners on distribution and investment teams
- Leading new product launches from governance approvals through execution, ensuring timely, seamless implementation across stakeholders, bringing creating thinking and analytical insight to product innovation
- Leading industry and competitive analysis to identify client trends and uncover commercial opportunities to position BlackRock’s active products and solutions in key client segments
- Defining the asset class product agenda by mapping, guiding, and tracking products throughout their lifecycle, managing seed capital allocations, and helping to set annual sales targets
- Driving ongoing product enhancements by building project plans and coordinating cross-functional partners, troubleshooting potential challenges
- Building presentations and memos to communicate strategic plans, product development opportunities, ongoing progress and final recommendations to senior audiences across product, investment and client organizations
What are we looking for?
- Bachelor’s degree required (MBA, CFA a plus)
- 3+ years of relevant experience, preferred in asset management, corporate strategy, client portfolio management, product marketing, sales management, or institutional fundraising
- Knowledge and understanding of investment management products and liquid asset classes
- A relationship builder with outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- A natural problem-solver with intellectual curiosity and a drive to continuously learn
- Proven ability to lead sophisticated, cross-functional projects
- High energy self-starter with strong integrity and a high degree of creativity
- Strong data analytics and visualization skills are crucial
- Familiarity with industry data sources (Simfund, Morningstar, Broadridge, eVestment, Preqin, etc.) a plus

Our hybrid work model
