As part of the CFO unit, you will join the Group Performance Management team, which plays a key role in the integrated financial steering of the bank. We drive the overall financial planning process as well as the definition of group-wide financial steering and governance concepts. We connect stakeholders within as well as outside Finance functions and promote cross-functional collaboration for strategic finance topics. You will join a team of highly committed experienced professionals that foster a collaborative and mutually inclusive working environment. The role requires strong operational involvement in day-to-day business as well as a strategic mindset to succeed in a fast-paced and multi-task environment.YOUR CHALLENGE
During the internship, you will:
Gain broad exposure in Finance organization and operating model of a private bank (front to back)
Support development and maintenance of integrated planning models across Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet and Capital dimensions
Support with simulations and scenarios for our capital market story and regular planning operations
Get deep insights into financial steering frameworks and incentivization structures
Contribute to strategic and organizational initiatives and projects
Drive enhanced finance analytics to help steer executive decisions
Create frequent presentations to senior management
Engage with relevant stakeholders at Group and Regional / Business Unit level to drive steering frameworks and planning topics
YOUR PROFILE
Your Profile:
Strong academic record and Bachelor's degree from a university or university of applied sciences with above-average grades ideally in finance, economics or business administration
Initial practical experience in the financial services industry and expertise in banking and financial products is a plus
Passion for wealth management and a desire to create value beyond wealth
A global mindset, excellent interpersonal skills, and a strong appetite for learning
Independent, resilient and team-oriented personality
Strong analytical and quantitative modelling skills
Excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills
Fluency in English, German and other languages is a plus
Eligibility to work in Switzerland, work location is Zurich
