The Opportunity:

The CIS program supports our intelligence customer deliver IT services to conduct its globally distributed operations. We are driving an exciting technological transformation of customer IT services by leading the design, development, implementation, and operation of cutting-edge solutions. This includes continuous service improvement through the modernization of IT system infrastructure.

CACI is looking for an experienced, innovative, and motivated Endpoint Systems Lead to support the mission objectives and needs of the customer, the Defense Intelligence Agency.  The position is contingent upon award of the DIA SITE III CIO Infrastructure Services (CIS) contract.

 Responsibilities:

Leadership & Strategic Oversight:

  • Direct global, 24/7 IT operations and manage technical teams providing comprehensive support for enterprise infrastructure, devices, and endpoint solutions.

  • Serve as the IT/IS Business Manager, collaborating directly with Engineering teams and customer stakeholders to define requirements and ensure availability, reliability, and operability objectives are met.

  • Lead Continual Service Improvement (CSI) and innovation initiatives, researching emerging technologies and articulating the strategic benefits of infrastructure evolution to executive stakeholders.

  • Manage the transition of engineered solutions from Engineering teams through Beta/Acceptance testing and Blue/Green fielding utilizing dedicated Lab facilities.

Endpoint & Infrastructure Management:

  • Oversee the deployment, operation, and maintenance of physical, virtual, and cloud-based desktop and mobile endpoints across Citrix, Azure, AWS, and VMware infrastructures.

  • Manage enterprise desktop and application packaging, directing the use of Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM) and Intune for remote distribution to thick, thin, virtual, and mobile devices.

  • Direct end-user profile management strategies, ensuring automated updates and synchronization with Active Directory to optimize startup, login, application streaming, and overall user experience.

  • Coordinate Tier 3 engineering resources and cross-functional teams for advanced troubleshooting, problem resolution, and scheduled/ad hoc maintenance activities.

Security, Compliance & Administration:

  • Orchestrate continuous patch management and vulnerability mitigation for workstations and servers across all networks and security domains in strict accordance with contract requirements.

  • Ensure endpoint security and compliance by overseeing the configuration of hardware BIOS, device drivers, and full disk encryption utilizing NIST-, FIPS-, and NSA-approved algorithms.

  • Govern all hardware and software licensing, distribution, and accounting by user account, device, and group to ensure compliance and cost efficiency.

  • Manage the creation and delivery of required contract documentation, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), reports, and data, and oversee approved Plan of Action and Milestones (POA&M).

  • Qualifications:

Required: 

  • Must hold a current Top Secret SCI clearance with ability to obtain poly prior to start

  • Experience leading people or projects

  • Microsoft 365 Certified: Endpoint Administrator Associate (40+ hrs. training) and/or 7 years of experience

  • Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA), Citrix Certified Associate-Virtualization, Azure Fundamentals, OEM equivalent, VMware Certified Advanced Professional – Data Center Virtualization Design, OR Azure Administrator

  • DOD 8140 Certification applicable to role (minimum Security+)

  • An AA and 14+ years of experience, BS/BA and 12+ years of experience, MS/MA and 10+ years of experience, or PhD and 8+ years of experience

  • Minimum 6 years of hands-on experience integrating, operating, and maintaining IT hardware and software solutions

  • Willingness to learn new skills and new technologies.

  • Experience leading a distributed technical team

  • Ivanti User Workspace Administrator

  • Familiarity with IC ITE services and classified environments

  • ITIL 4 Foundation Certification

There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.
