We seek an Executive Office Specialist to provide support to the office of Co-CEO, Carl Lindner III. The successful candidate will manage a variety of complex and confidential professional responsibilities to support the office of the Co-CEO. This role supports a dynamic environment which requires the successful candidate to exhibit initiative, decision-making as well as strong team collaboration.

Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities include:
- Serves as a representative of AFG / Great American Insurance Group and always displays professionalism and an executive demeanor.
- Facilitates communication with internal and external stakeholders, executives, and other key resources.
- Researches, obtains, and organizes information for use in meetings, speeches, and reports as requested by the executive.
- May develop and implement new processes or operational plans that will impact the achievement of functional results.
- Coordinates and facilitates the scheduling of meetings, projects and travel itineraries that require research, detailed preparation and precise execution.
- Identifies available resources to assist in ensuring that processes are in place to meet business needs.
- May maintain financial records and prepare financial reports for the office of the co-CEO.
- Prepares, receives and responds to complex correspondence, ensuring all outgoing information meets quality standards.
- May edit, proof, format document design/production, form filling, and perform data entry.
- Receives and screens telephone calls and visitors, directing to appropriate individuals when needed. Exercises judgment in meeting the needs of callers and visitors personally whenever possible.
- Serves as part of a collaborative team to meet the needs of the Co-CEO executive office.
- Maintains the highest level of discretion, judgement, and confidentiality in all matters.
Job Requirements
- Must have a bachelor’s degree in business, communication, or related field.
- Require 7-10+ years of professional work experience with some financial sophistication.
- Excellent discretion and judgment in handling confidential data in a discreet manner.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Adobe/creative skills are preferred.
- Demonstrated strong detail orientation and high level of accountability.
- Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks without supervision.
- The level of this position is flexible based on candidate qualifications.
