We are seeking an experienced MES Senior Analyst with hands-on expertise in MES implementation and Post Launch Support in discrete manufacturing environments. The role involves MES deliverables under a Build & Run model, acting as a key interface between Business, Product, Digital, and OT teams, and providing flexible support for global manufacturing plants.

We are seeking an experienced MES Senior Analyst with hands-on expertise in MES implementation and Post Launch Support in discrete manufacturing environments. The role involves MES deliverables under a Build & Run model, acting as a key interface between Business, Product, Digital, and OT teams, and providing flexible support for global manufacturing plants.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead MES implementation including requirements gathering, solution design, Testing, cutover, and hypercare.
- Take technical ownership of new MES functionalities and feature releases.
- Participate in requirement discussions with Business and Product teams and convert them into technical designs.
- Lead feature planning, development estimation, implementation, testing, and production rollout.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and follow Agile practises to convert the Business Requirements into User Stories.
- Implement and support Ignition MES modules, Vision/Perspective applications, and gateway configurations.
- Configure, maintain, and optimize Kepware (KepServerEX) for secure and reliable PLC-to-MES connectivity using OPC UA.
- Collaborate closely with Manufacturing Technologies (Automation & Controls teams) to integrate PLCs, machines, and sensors with MES.
- Act as a liaison between Business stakeholders and Product/Platform teams for requirement clarification, enhancement delivery, and prioritization.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives, system upgrades, and new feature rollouts.
- Maintain documentation of User Requirements, Product Capabilities, User Gudies and Training materials as needed.
- Provide POST launch application support including incident resolution, root cause analysis, and long-term corrective actions.
- Support global manufacturing plants across time zones, including flexible working hours during go-lives and critical production events.
Required Skills & Experience
- 7+ years of experience in MES implementations within manufacturing environments.
- Strong understanding of discrete manufacturing processes (Work Orders, BOMs, Routing, Traceability).
- Experience with MES modules (Production, Quality, Maintenance, OEE, Downtime, Track & Trace).
- Strong experience with Kepware (KepServerEX):OPC UA configuration; PLC driver setup; Tag performance optimization; Security and high-availability concepts
- Exposure to Agile Tools (Preferably Jira, Rally etc)
- Experience working in a Build & Run operating model.
- Familiar with key ITIL processes including Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management, Service Request Management, and Knowledge Management.
- Exposure to MES–ERP integrations (preferably SAP).
- Strong communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
- Willingness to work in different time zones to support global plants across multiple regions.
Good to Have
- Ignition or Kepware certifications.
- Knowledge of SQL, REST APIs, MQTT.
- Exposure to Industry 4.0 / Digital Factory initiatives.
- Hands-on experience with Ignition platform is an added advantage.
- Experience in multi-site global MES rollouts.
