Regional Analytics & Insights Assistant Manager, Mobile Experience Business (2yrs Contract)

Position Summary

Samsung’s Mobile Experience business is responsible for managing the growth and profitability of smartphones, tablets, wearables, and mobile accessories.

As a Regional Analytics & Insights Assistant Manager for Samsung Mobile Experience Business, you will combine hands on data analysis with market intelligence to drive insight-led decisions across Samsung’s mobile business.

Your key task is to leverage various internal and external data sources to generate business insights, share regular action-based recommendation to senior leadership, and support strategic decision-making and guide go-to-market directions. You will also be the primary regional point of contact for global and local subsidiaries teams who are in search of data insight, and be steering them to insightful data analysis and structured data reporting process.

Role and Responsibilities

• Ensure data availability, usability and accuracy from various internal and external data portals, build holistic and systematic data monitoring & reporting framework
• Pull, clean and structure market data from multiple syndicated / internal resources, into structured reports on a weekly/monthly basis
• Collect and summarize weekly competitor sensing reports from local markets, and identify key trends and risks through data analysis
• Regularly engage with product marketing, retail, online and other relevant function teams to understand business performance, market dynamics and product plans
• Track regional performance vs. key competitors across price segments, monitor and flag significant share movements, with data-driven insights and recommendations
• Conduct regular data analysis and performance reviews of Samsung’s key regional sales enablement programs (including Trade-in, Samsung Finance+), identify key risks and opportunities, and drive go-to-market actions with local subsidiaries
• Present key findings and recommendations to senior stakeholders in a clear, concise and action-driven format
• Optimize existing data reporting processes, leveraging advanced data solutions and internal/external AI tools
• Address inquiries and support requests from global, subsidiary and regional cross-functional teams

Skills and Qualifications

• At least 5 years of relevant professional experience in consumer products company, ideally in mobile, consumer electronics, or adjacent industry
• Strong understanding of consumer electronics market dynamics, consumer behaviours or competitive landscapes
• Significant experience in data analytics, market research, CMI or a related field
• Familiarity with syndicated market research tools and data sources
• Proven data analytics skills, proficient knowledge in data processing knowhows incl. data collection & cleaning, data construction, data reporting & visualization etc.
• Advanced excel skills is a must
• Ability to create clear and insight-led PPT presentations, with action-driven recommendations
• Ability to present to senior leadership and related stakeholder effectively
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Mobile / electronics industry experience preferred
• Relevant regional experience preferred
