We are looking for a Manager for the Ads Finance & Strategy team, based in France to act as the strategic partner to the Ads Sales business. This role partners with the Ads Sales country lead and broader leadership to define the long term ads strategy for France, translate it into actionable annual and multi‑year plans, and advise local Ads leadership on market positioning, strategic initiatives, and growth priorities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build a comprehensive, forward‑looking view of the French advertising market — trends, regulations, competitive landscape, agency and advertiser dynamics — and identify long‑term growth opportunities across verticals, segments, formats and partner ecosystems.

  • Partner with FP&A and the wider Finance & Strategy  team to lead a long‑term annual planning process for France, covering market sizing, targets, investment cases and pricing/deal strategy aligned to long‑term revenue goals.

  • Support business cases for major French initiatives (e.g., new product launches, key partnerships, new sales motions) with structured analysis and clear narratives.

  • Continuously monitor and interpret industry trends, competitive dynamics, customer behaviors, and regulatory shifts to anticipate market changes, assess their impact on our business, and translate external signals into clear, actionable strategic recommendations for both long‑term strategy and near‑term decision‑making.

  • Partner with Ads Leadership and Business Operations team in shaping the go‑to‑market strategies for the market, defining how we differentiate and position our ad solutions vs. global and local competitors.

  • Turn data into clear, actionable recommendations: lead monetization and yield analysis (CPM trends, inventory delivery, portfolio monetization), support pricing and deal decisions, and develop standardized reporting that informs weekly trading, quarterly business reviews  and leadership updates.

  • Serves as the primary Finance & Strategy counterpart for French Sales leadership and cross‑functional partners (Market Planning & Operations, Product, Marketing, Policy); facilitate alignment on strategic priorities and represent the perspective of the French market in global forums.

  • Good knowledge of the streaming advertising and ad‑tech ecosystem; familiarity with programmatic, SSP/DSP relationships and auction dynamics is a plus.

  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills: able to structure ambiguous problems, build financial models, size opportunities and synthesize insights into clear recommendations.

  • Experience influencing senior stakeholders without direct authority.

  • Effective communication skills, , including strategic narrative building and executive‑ready presentations (strategy memos, leadership decks).

  • Proficiency in French and English, including written and verbal communication, to collaborate effectively with local and global partners.

  • Ability to make decisions autonomously within an aligned strategic framework.

  • Bachelor's or master's degree with emphasis on quantitative coursework; or equivalent practical experience; MBA a plus.
