Join our team in Aman Venice. Set in Palazzo Papadopoli, one of the city’s eight monumental palazzos on the Grand Canal, Aman Venice embodies all that is sumptuous and sensuous about La Serenissima. ROLE
We are looking for a bright, dedicated professional who will be part of the F&B Team as a Demi Chef de Rang, supporting the Restaurant team and satisfying all guest needs and exceeding their expectations.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Serves meals to guests according to the rules of etiquette; prepares dining room and server stations to fulfill this function;
- Satisfying guest needs and exceeding their expectations by projecting a positive hotel image through proper grooming, appropriate verbal communication, and taking responsibility of guest needs;
- Knowledge of all menu items and accompanying silverware;
- Informing the kitchen of any special requests or needs ;
- Recording and passing on any useful information to the host/hostess such as special occasions, etc;
- Communicate with other servers or back servers to see if they need any help;
- Keeping high personal grooming standards and maintaining a neat uniform;
QUALIFICATIONS
- 2-year previous experience in a similar role in the hospitality sector;
- Need to be competent in the use of Micros;
- Knowledge of dining room and kitchen procedures helpful;
- Good communication skills;
- Excellent presentation and grooming standard;
- Fluent in English and an additional language is considered a plus;
