We’re looking for an Organisational Effectiveness Coordinator to join our People & Culture team and help support a range of people and capability initiatives across the business.
The role:
Working closely with the OE Manager and broader People & Culture team, you’ll help bring our people programs to life. You’ll support initiatives across leadership development, workforce planning, learning platforms, talent and early career programs, mentoring, and performance management.
This is a hands-on, varied role where no two days are the same. You’ll work with stakeholders across the business and connect with our global teams to help deliver practical, people‑focused solutions that support our Defence mission.
You’ll be involved in:
- Coordinating leadership and development programs
- Supporting workforce planning activities and reporting
- Assisting with talent, succession and early career programs
- Helping manage learning platforms and development resources
- Supporting mentoring and performance management processes
- Working with teams across Australia in a collaborative environment
About you:
You’re organised, friendly, and enjoy working with people. You’re comfortable juggling multiple priorities and like being part of a team that’s focused on making things better.
You’ll ideally bring:
- Strong communication skills and confidence working with different stakeholders
- Experience supporting programs, projects, or people initiatives
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Exposure to learning, training or people-related activities
- The ability to stay organised in a busy environment
- Experience in Defence or a regulated environment (nice to have)
- A relevant tertiary qualification (desirable)
An AGSVA Baseline clearance (or the ability to obtain one) is required. This role is offered as a 12 month Fixed Term Contract.

As a Defence security clearance is required for this role, you must be an Australian Citizen. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) are applicable, as such your nationality may be a factor in determining your suitability for this role.
