Position Summary
Provides custodial services on the WashU Medicine Campus by performing a variety of cleaning tasks to maintain a safe and healthy work area for staff and visitors.Job Description
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
- Collects and disposes of trash and waste products by taking to appropriate compactor.
- Cleans, disinfects bathrooms, sanitizes telephones, washes desks and cleans lunch/service areas.
- Operates mechanical floor cleaners, vacuums and utilizes mop buckets, wringers, etc.
- Mops, buffs and maintains all floors and dusts/vacuums work areas and offices.
- Washes interior and exterior windows.
- Changes lights utilizing appropriate ladders.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

More About This Job
Position is as needed with a maximum 20 hours a week.
2nd shift hours are typically 5:00 p.m. - 11:00 a.m. on Monday, Wednesday & Friday, or as needed.
3rd shift hours are typically 10:00 p.m. to 4:00 a.m. on Sunday, Tuesday, and Thursday, or as needed.
