What this opportunity involves:

We're currently seeking a Lease Administrator for an exciting opportunity with a government client! This friendly and supportive team is looking for someone to bring their positive attitude, strong skills, and natural spark to this position.

This role can be based in Melbourne or Sydney.

  • Calculate fixed, CPI and lease events reports for Property Managers on a monthly basis
  • Compile and manage lease property data for Account Stakeholders
  • Liaising with internal and external contacts including landlords when required
  • Oversee and assist in abstracting new retail leases within agreed client timeframes
  • Perform document and data management of all retail leases
  • Review landlord invoices for accuracy and conduct rental reconciliations where discrepancies are apparent
  • Manage lease administration workflows and maintain various trackers for data governance and compliance
  • Ensure all Rent Roll reports are accurate and distributed within agreed financial calendar
  • Heavy involvement in AP/AR reconciliations and annual auditing procedures
  • Manage recurring ad-hoc leasing payments promptly
  • Assist the broader Lease Administration team where required

Your key strength is customer service with strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently or collaboratively in a team environment. You will have demonstrated leasing or property administration experience with the ability to understand commercial contracts and Rent Roll reporting.

  • 2-4 years of relevant work experience (preferably in real estate)
  • Strong accounting and reconciliation skills (AP/AR)
  • Problem-solving abilities for resolving landlord queries and discrepancies
  • Advanced Excel and data software skills
  • Experience with property management/lease administration systems (SAP desirable)
