What you’ll do

Become part of an iconic brand that is set to revolutionize the electric pick-up truck & rugged SUV marketplace by achieving the following:

Process and audit multi-state payroll for a large employee population on a bi-weekly or monthly basis
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations
Reconcile payroll accounts and prepare journal entries for accounting team
Serve as subject matter expert for payroll system (ADP Workforce Now)
Research and resolve complex payroll discrepancies and employee inquiries
Support year-end processes including W-2 preparation and reconciliation
Partner with HR and Finance on compensation changes, new hire onboarding, and terminations
Identify opportunities to improve payroll processes and implement solutions
Assist with internal and external audits related to payroll
Mentor junior payroll staff

Location & Travel Expectations:

This role may be based out of the Scout Motors corporate headquarters in Charlotte, NC.
This role requires 4-5 days per week in the office, with regular in-person meetings and events.
