Our grounskeeping team is responsible for all areas of outdoor maintenance to include, mowing, tree trimming, snow removal, fertilizing, planting, cleaning and morePay starts at $15.00 with additional credit given for work experience relative to this role
Summary
Responsible for care of the organization's maintained grounds. Work will include, but not be limited to, all types of outside property maintenance, snow removal, equipment work, and basic tree trimming.Job Description
May assist with inside maintenance and construction assistance work. Assists with maintenance and repair of sprinkler systems. Assists with parking lot repairs, such as cold patching/asphalt repairs. Assists with assessments on grounds. May assist with minor electrical work. May assist with general maintenance work on various equipment. Ability to operate equipment for basic dirt work and snow removal equipment such as bobcats, trucks with snow removal equipment, power brooms etc. Ability to operate a variety of hand and power tools as well as light and heavy-duty machinery helpful. Ability to work on high equipment, such as lifts, ladders etc. Experience in parking ramp, lawn maintenance, and general maintenance desired. Knowledge of mechanics and a working knowledge of plumbing, painting, electronics, masonry, carpentry, welding, and landscape technology. Adaptable to learn maintenance duties inside buildings when needed. Depending on location, may function as a seasonal shuttle driver for employees.Qualifications
Trade school or vocational school with courses in landscaping, horticulture, forestry or park management desired.Six months experience working with lawn care equipment preferred.
May require applicable State Commercial Applicators License and/or Certification. Depending on location, may require current valid driver’s license, and must meet all medical guidelines for Sanford Health Category III drivers. Depending on location, class A Commercial Drivers License, and full compliance with DOT regulations required within 6 months from hire date.
