Position Overview
The Inter‑Company Box Truck Driver / Material Handler supports daily operations by transporting materials between company locations and assisting with warehouse activities, including receiving, assembly, packaging, and general material handling.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate a company box truck for inter‑company deliveries.
- Complete required DOT inspections and maintain delivery documentation.
- Load and unload materials using forklifts or pallet jacks.
- Support warehouse functions: receiving, inventory movement, stock rotation, and organization.
- Assist with basic assembly tasks as needed for production.
- Package and prepare materials or finished goods for shipment.
- Follow all safety procedures and report equipment or safety concerns promptly.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education
- High school diploma or GED required
Qualifications
- Valid Chauffeur’s License with a clean driving record
- Current DOT Medical Card
- 1–2 years of driving or warehouse experience preferred
- Forklift/material handling experience
- Ability to lift 50–75 lbs. and perform physical work
- Strong communication and time‑management skills
