The Jr. Repair Technician position requires experienced automotive repairmen. The successful candidate will be working with cutting edge technology that enables exceptional performance and world class quality. The applicant must be an enthusiastic, highly motivated individual that is able to work in a fast-paced environment. Must be able to perform under pressure, remain dynamic and understand urgency. The Repair Technician must be able to practice teamwork and team building within our organization.
You Will:
- Strong contributor to mobilizing team toward production goals
- Fostering collaborative cross-functional activities and engagement (including with Quality and Engineering teams) in a fast-paced environment with emphasis on an exceptional results-oriented customer service model.
- Organize and prioritize the team's tasks, ensuring the timely completion of production within quality standards.
- Efficiently perform analysis on fit and finish of Lucid Motor's all-electric vehicles
- Perform mechanical repairs to achieve a high level of quality that meets Lucid standards.
- Disassemble and reassemble vehicles when needed, while maintaining a high level of cleanliness of the vehicle and the workstation.
- Contribute towards the development of repair procedures.
- Use a variety of hand and power tools with a strong focus on safety and quality.
- Learn and gain proficiency on MES, Tableau, and Microsoft 365
- Document repair activities electronically using a variety of systems, if needed
- Assist in identifying and correcting the cause of problems and provide feedback to engineers.
- Willing to work on any shift.
- Wear Personal Protective Equipment, as required.
- Train new team members on fit and repair procedures and safety protocols.
- Partner with salaried and hourly team members and coordinate activities to continuously improve.
You Bring:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Progressively increasing responsibilities and demonstrated knowledge of production Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Effective organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage simultaneously
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, adapt to changing priorities and handle pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time during the repair of a vehicle.
- Must be able to walk, sit, bend, push/pull, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach or crawl frequently.
- Must be able to lift objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Able to follow instructions in English, both written and verbal.
- Available to work overtime, off-shifts or weekends, as needed.
Essential Physical Requirements
- Standing and Walking: Ability to stand and walk for 8–12 hours per shift on hard surfaces in a production environment.
- Manual Dexterity: Frequent use of hands for handling tools, assembling components, and operating machinery. Requires fine motor skills and grip strength.
- Lifting and Carrying: Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull items weighing 10–50 lbs. regularly; occasional lifting up to 75 lb
