YOUR MISSION
This strategic role offers a high-impact opportunity to shape Glovo's future. You will directly contribute to defining the company's core priorities and leading key strategic projects. The role involves evaluating and testing innovative new business concepts across diverse verticals, from GenAI strategy and micro-mobility to fintech products, defining the why and how of their implementation; you will be crucial in refining operational models, analyzing market intelligence, and continuously building a robust competitor intelligence framework.
THE JOURNEY
- Work directly on Glovo’s company strategy, helping to define and structure priorities across the company.
- Lead key strategic projects, where you will support senior stakeholders across the business to crack a number of diverse and highly demanding problems. You will be instrumental in defining the future of our platform, with some of our previous strategic focuses including:
- Making our platform more accessible by designing new promo mechanisms or launching affordable options, such as lunch menus.
- Analyzing the business to uncover and map out new paths to sustainable profitability.
- Refining our partner segmentation to enhance partner support models and drive operational efficiency.
- Championing our GenAI strategy, identifying high-impact use cases, and supporting their implementation and scaling across different teams.
- Evaluate (and sometimes test) new business concepts, aligned to achieving our strategic priorities. Become an expert in new categories and drive the thinking within the business on new verticals, define the why, how, and then go and test it. Previous examples include launching micro-mobility, ingredient procurement, restaurant software and technology, fintech products, food waste models and many more.
- Support the team to analyze market intelligence and predict industry activity and implications for Glovo. Continue to build out our robust competitor intelligence framework and data tracking to ensure added insight with each iteration.
- Actively collaborate with your colleagues and learn from each other in a supportive environment that allows you to grow, develop, and make a difference.
