YOUR MISSION
As a Sr Operation Analyst at Glovo, you will play a key role in optimizing our operations of our internal fleet to ensure the efficient, cost-effective, performance and high-quality delivery of services across your region at the same time of being the point of contact for the Fleet Leads of your City. You will also be the main point of contact for internal stakeholders, ensuring seamless collaboration between teams. Your data-driven decision-making, along with your focus on continuous improvement, will be instrumental in achieving Glovo’s operational goals and advancing our logistics strategy. By overseeing and optimizing the operations of your team, you will directly contribute to the performance and scalability of Glovo’s delivery network, ensuring that our partners thrive in a rapidly evolving environment.
THE JOURNEY
- Be the point of contact of the Fleet Leads under your region (South and Canaries) of responsibility, having more than 15 people reporting into you
- Be responsible for the hiring of your missing Fleet Leads
- Be responsible for their continuous monitoring and achievement of the operations of your region
- Be able to analyze, deep dive and find solutions to any potential issue that deviates the operations in our cities.
- Accompany the Onboarding process for new couriers by the hand of the fleet lead
- Work closely with People team and Health and Safety team to guarantee all the regulations are successfully completed
- Identify areas for improvement within the team and across operations, developing and implementing strategies to drive efficiency and scalability.
- Use data and performance metrics to track operations, pinpointing areas of improvement and proactively addressing challenges.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams, providing operational insights and support to optimize fleet performance and cost-efficiency.
- Ensure smooth communication between stakeholders, both internal and external, to align operational activities and resolve issues promptly.
- Drive cross-functional collaboration with other departments such as Commercial, People, Finance, and Data to support the broader operational goals of Glovo.
WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE RIDE
- 3+ years of experience in Management of supply chain, operations, or logistics working with operational workers-
- Analytical mindset with solid experience in using data to drive decision-making and solve operational challenges.
- Excel/Google Sheets for data analysis and reporting.
- Proactive attitude with the ability to drive change and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven ability to lead and develop teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
