YOUR MISSION
In this role you will lead the central sales team of Glovo Romania, reporting directly to the Commercial Director and working closely with the senior sales people from the country regions. Your mission will be to bring as many missing partners from the country on our platform.
THE JOURNEY
- Lead the sales executive team in Bucharest, responsible for bringing partners from all across the country to our platform
- Bring structure, discipline, and motivation to the team - set targets, ways of working, and daily reporting processes to ensure sales objectives are met
- Finds breakout restaurant partners early, closes them quickly, and turns the first handshake into a high-trust relationship that drives ongoing growth
- Translate the commercial vision to the sales team and create a sales strategy that aligns with the wider business goals.
- Take ownership of important negotiations with top partners in Bucharest
WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE RIDE
- A proven sales background – Experience overseeing large, complex sales funnels and driving results in high-volume environments
- Structure and results – Excel in high-volume sales cycles, daily follow-ups, scheduling, and ensure deadlines are consistently hit
- A methodical approach - Set up and maintain organized sales pipelines, create a clear sales funnel for the team, and track it on a daily basis
- Discipline and Assertiveness – Create clear processes and a sense of urgency in the team; push the team to stay on top of targets and daily KPIs
- High-Energy Leadership – Bring a good energy to the team; motivate and reinvigorate the sales executives with positivity while still keeping everyone accountable
- Strategic Mindset – Strong understanding of commercial and HQ sales strategy; able to design sales strategies, set ambitious targets, and define team ways of working.
- Management and People Skills – Skilled at coaching, mentoring, and developing talent; this role will require managing a team of 6-8 sales executives
- Ambition & Self-Motivation – Driven to exceed personal and team goals, a leader with a lot of energy which spreads in the team
- Negotiation Skills - Able to negotiate important deals with top partners to bring them on our platform
- Full professional level in Romanian and fluency in English
- Business awareness and understanding of the food delivery industry trends is preferred
