The Regulatory Operations team, a vital part of the Legal Team, operates from strategic locations in Brussels and London. This dedicated team plays a crucial role in ensuring compliance with international regulations outside of the US and Canada.
What You'll Do:
Main Responsibilities of the Role:
- First Line of Support to answer Law Enforcement Authorities (LEA) and National Authorities: understand the nature of the case, gather information, and respond on time.
- Data Analysis and Reporting: Compile and analyse statistical data to prepare comprehensive reports for submission to the National Regulatory Authority (NRA).
- Prepare and submit applications for numbering resources upon request from internal departments. Maintain and keep the numbering manual up to date.
- Lead proactive measures towards customers to ensure compliance and reduce the number of requests from Law Enforcement regarding numbering misuse
- Ensure the applicability of internal processes in day-to-day activities, including documentation management, process improvements and help oversee Reg Ops emails.
- Horizon scanning - research and analyse emerging trends to proactively identify and mitigate risks.
Secondary Responsibilities:
- Quality Assurance: Serve as a primary Bandmate responsible for ensuring the accuracy of internal data compilations prior to inclusion of regulatory submissions.
- Continuously improve by learning about global regulatory requirements and keeping documentation for the team up to date.
- Facilitate the identification, investigation, and resolution of case-related issues identified through analysis of customer data and other internal information sources..
- Precision: Ability to pay attention to small details, ensuring accuracy in all tasks and minimising mistakes that could lead to larger issues.
What You Need:
- Bachelor’s degree (legal background is preferred).
- Experience working in the telecommunications industry and a strong interest in technological developments.
- Advanced experience with data analysis tools and software, such as Excel (including expertise in pivot table and complex formulas), SQL, or specialised analytics platforms like Power BI.
- Experience in preparing data for analysis by cleaning, organising, and transforming raw data into a usable format.
- Strong analytical and logical reasoning skills.
- Natural curiosity and critical thinking skills to produce evidence-informed decisions.
- Ability to work within a team environment/cross collaborate with other departments.

- Ability to be flexible and receptive to changing process demands.
