YOUR MISSION

We are looking for a senior, business‑oriented Retail Media profile who can act as a true owner of FMCG accounts, not just a campaign manager. This role sits at the intersection of commercial strategy, category management and Retail Media monetization, with the objective of driving incremental GMV, market share defense and long‑term brand growth on Glovo.

This role is expected to lead the conversation with senior stakeholders, build robust business diagnoses even with imperfect data, and translate those insights into integrated growth plans where Retail Media is a key lever — but never the only one

Key responsibilities

 

1. Business & category ownership

  • Own the business performance of a portfolio of top FMCG brands, with a clear understanding of category dynamics, market share evolution and growth levers.
  • Diagnose under‑ or over‑performance by combining Retail Media data with business fundamentals (assortment, pricing, stock, promo intensity, category mix, seasonality).
  • Build clear cause‑root reasons when brands lose share or fail to capture category growth.

2. Retail Media strategy & monetization

  • Design Retail Media strategies that drive incremental growth, not just efficiency (beyond ROAS).
  • Define and defend investment levels using economic logic (elasticity, expected growth, trade‑offs), not only historical performance.
  • Use Retail Media as a growth engine to defend share, grow AOV, increase basket intensity and unlock new demand.

3. Integrated growth planning

  • Build holistic growth plans that integrate Retail Media with:
    • Brand marketing calendars and launches
    • Promotional strategy and key moments of consumption
    • Assortment and category opportunities
  • Prioritize initiatives clearly, making and defending hard trade‑offs.
  • Lead Business Reviews  with a strong executive narrative focused on business outcomes.

What we are looking for

Must‑have profile

  • 3–5+ years of experience in Retail Media, eCommerce, Category Management, Digital Commercial or Revenue Growth roles.
  • Proven experience working with FMCG brands and large accounts.
  • Strong understanding of category economics, market share, GMV and incremental growth.
  • Ability to build structured diagnoses and defend decisions under pressure.
  • Comfortable operating with incomplete data, forming hypotheses and proposing clear action plans.
