YOUR MISSION

By joining our Global Finance Department, you will be responsible for Glovo´s external and internal financial reporting for all of our markets. We are looking for an experienced, hands-on leader who will ensure execution for complex initiatives and raise the bar to take our team to the next level!

THE JOURNEY

  • Be responsible for all Glovo markets financial reporting in terms of balance sheet, P&L, and cash flow management.
  • Ensure compliance with local statutory audit and reporting requirements for both internal and external purposes.
  • Implement quality controls over financial transactions and financial reporting to improve accuracy, process efficiency, and compliance.
  • Coordinate and support month-end and year-end closing activities.
  • Oversee local accounting and reporting of some Glovo regions (WE and Africa).
  • Be the bridge between local finance teams and HQ to get insights on financial performance.
  • Be the main POC for IFRS and reporting purposes with Delivery Hero.
  • Actively partner across the organization to build strong relationships.
  • Set and review team goals and targets for achieving operational results, ensuring alignment with key stakeholders.
  • Lead and develop a team of 10+ people.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE RIDE

  • Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in finance or accounting. 
  • 12+ years of proven experience in a similar role.
  • In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, regulations, and standards.
  • Experience in a publicly traded group and familiar with its reporting obligations.
  • S/4HANA and OneStream experience is highly desirable.
  • Hands-on, detail-oriented, and problem-solving skills.
  • Robust communication skills and strong stakeholder management.
  • Excellent business sense and strategic way of thinking.  
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, staying organized and ensuring execution of complex initiatives, driving impact at scale.
  • Strong team mentoring and leadership skills.
