The Associate Product Solutions Manager leads a team of Product Solutions Managers responsible for converting customer demand and product configurations into executable manufacturing plans. This role provides both operational leadership and strategic alignment to ensure Fortna’s engineered solutions are executed efficiently, accurately, and on schedule.
The Manager acts as the operational bridge between commercial and manufacturing functions — overseeing order readiness, capacity planning, and production execution while driving consistency, accountability, and process improvement across the team.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Team Management
- Lead and develop a team of Product Solutions Managers, fostering role clarity, accountability, and high performance.
- Allocate resources and balance workloads across product lines and customer programs.
- Provide coaching and professional development to strengthen team capability and engagement.
Operational Oversight & Execution
- Oversee translation of customer orders into complete, executable manufacturing plans aligned with plant capacity and delivery schedules.
- Ensure order accuracy, schedule integrity, and risk mitigation throughout the production lifecycle.
- Monitor order performance metrics (on-time delivery, fulfillment accuracy, change order impact) and drive corrective actions when needed.
Cross-Functional Alignment
- Serve as the primary operational liaison between Sales, Engineering, Product Management, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing.
- Participate in order intake and program readiness reviews to ensure operational feasibility before commitment.
- Lead escalation management for high-impact or at-risk customer orders.
Cost, Pricing & Financial Accountability
- Oversee pricing and cost validation for configured products, ensuring data accuracy and financial transparency.
- Support Finance with cost variance analysis, forecasting, and margin management.
- Balance efficiency improvements with cost and delivery performance goals.
Process Standardization & Continuous Improvement
- Implement best practices, tools, and templates across the Manufacturing Integration function.
- Drive standardization of workflows for order intake, production readiness, and change management.
- Lead or sponsor improvement initiatives aimed at reducing lead time, improving quality, and enhancing customer satisfaction.
Risk Management & Quality Assurance
- Identify systemic risks (capacity, supply, quality) and implement proactive mitigation plans.
- Partner with Quality and Engineering to ensure design and production alignment.
- Support lessons-learned reviews and corrective action implementation across the team.

Required Qualifications
- 12–15 years of experience in Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related fields, with at least 3–5 years in a leadership role.
- Proven experience managing configurable or engineered-to-order products in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong leadership, coaching, and communication skills with demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives.
- Proficiency with ERP systems and manufacturing planning tools.
- Working knowledge of CAD drawings, BOMs, and engineering documentation.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, or related technical discipline (MBA or PMP preferred).
The base salary range for this role is $66,100 to $99,200. This base salary range represents the low and high end of the base salary range for this position. Actual base salary offered will vary based on various factors including but not limited to location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and performance.
