Our mission is to inspire everyone to ride ALSO—replacing many local car, truck and SUV miles with ones on vehicles that are more affordable, more enjoyable and 10-50x more efficient.
ALSO is looking for a IQC Engineer to be responsible for incoming material inspection and quality control activities, performing inspection to components in accordance with established standards to ensure compliance. And collaborate with the purchasing team and suppliers on daily quality communication and issue handling, and follow up on corrective actions to ensure effective implementation and stable incoming quality.
What You Will Do
Perform incoming inspection of components and modules to ensure compliance with quality standards
Provide judgement base on the inspection results to accept and reject parts.
Refine and maintain inspection criteria and acceptance standards
Handle incoming quality issues, issue NCR/CAR, and collaborate with SQE to follow corrective actions with suppliers.
Maintain inspection records and continuously monitor and analyze incoming quality.
Support on inspection activities for product development, failure analysis and further investigation necessary.
Collaborate with purchasing, FATP suppliers, and quality team on parts issues
What You Will Bring
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field (e.g., Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Materials)
3+ years of experience in quality control or incoming quality (IQC)
Familiar with quality tools (e.g., 7 QC tools) and basic problem-solving methodologies
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications and used to work in a fast-paced environment
Experience with inspection tools and measurement equipment
Good communication skills in English (written and verbal)
Monthly salary: NT$108,000 – NT$154,000 (annual package of NT$1,400,000 – NT$2,000,000 inclusive of guaranteed 13th month bonus paid at Lunar New Year)
