Job Description

Sales Coordinator

Doncaster | Full-time

Own the systems, data and processes that drive our sales performance

Heidelberg Materials Australia is seeking a highly organised and commercially minded Sales Coordinator to take ownership of sales operations, pricing execution and data integrity across our Victorian business.

Based in Doncaster, this is a hands-on, high-impact role where you’ll work closely with Sales Managers and senior leadership to improve systems, streamline processes, and deliver insights that directly influence commercial performance.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working across systems, data and operations—and wants to take ownership of how things are done, not just support them.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Performance & Commercial Insights

  • Analyse sales performance across volume, pricing and margins to identify trends, risks and opportunities

  • Identify margin leakage and growth opportunities, and work directly with Sales Managers to drive action

  • Deliver regular, practical reporting that supports decision-making

  • Conduct win/loss analysis and track market activity using competitor insights

Pricing & Commercial Execution

  • Support and coordinate regional price increases, ensuring accurate and timely execution

  • Maintain pricing structures, including base pricing, surcharges and pricing conditions

  • Monitor pricing performance and provide clear insights on outcomes and improvement areas

  • Review discounting and quoting practices to ensure alignment with pricing strategy

  • Play a key role in protecting margin and driving pricing discipline across the region

Systems, Process Improvement & Sales Operations

  • Act as the go-to expert for CRM and HConnect, supporting users and improving adoption

  • Identify and implement improvements across sales systems, workflows and data processes

  • Monitor system usage, identify gaps, and drive continuous improvement

  • Manage system escalations and ensure smooth day-to-day operations across platforms

  • Support B2B platform administration and ensure accurate data flow

Customer & Data Management

  • Own and maintain the integrity of customer and pricing master data

  • Support customer onboarding and ensure a smooth, professional experience

  • Manage account setup, credit applications and system configuration

  • Ensure accuracy, compliance and consistency across all sales and customer data

Team & Stakeholder Support

  • Work closely with Sales Managers, Regional Managers and leadership teams

  • Provide guidance to sales teams on systems, processes and best practice

  • Support alignment between sales, operations and pricing functions

About You

  • Experience in sales coordination, sales operations, pricing, or commercial analysis

  • Strong systems experience across CRM, ERP platforms (e.g. SAP) or similar

  • Proven ability to improve processes, systems or workflows

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into practical actions

  • Background in construction, manufacturing, plant hire, logistics or similar operational environments highly regarded

  • High attention to detail with a strong focus on data accuracy and integrity

  • Confident working with stakeholders across sales, operations and leadership teams

  • Well organised, proactive and comfortable managing multiple priorities

  • Experience supporting or guiding teams (formal or informal leadership) is highly regarded

Why Join Us

  • High-impact role with direct exposure to senior leadership and commercial decision-making

  • Opportunity to take ownership of systems, processes and pricing execution

  • Be part of a business where operations, data and commercial performance are closely linked

  • Work in a collaborative, down-to-earth team environment

  • Gain exposure to digital sales platforms and continuous improvement initiatives
