Ideal candidates for this position will have at least two years of RN experience in a hospital setting. An oncology background is preferred.
Job Summary
The Radiation Therapy Department is seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse to join our highly specialized oncology care team. This department provides services to adult and geriatric patients undergoing treatment for cancer and select non-malignant conditions, including benign brain tumors.
As an RN, you will play a vital role in supporting complex patient care throughout the radiation therapy journey—from consultation through treatment completion. You will work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team and participate in shared governance, quality initiatives, and unit-based improvements. This role requires strong clinical judgment, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to safe, compassionate, patient-centered care.

Minimum Qualifications
- Licensure: Current Georgia RN license
- Education: Associate Degree in Nursing
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of RN experience
- Preferred Qualifications – 2 years of experience, Oncology background
- Certification: National specialty certification (oncology or radiation preferred)

- Delivers safe, efficient, population-specific care to adult and geriatric patients
- Demonstrates strong communication and teamwork with colleagues, patients, and families
- Applies evidence-based practice and sound critical thinking
- Demonstrates leadership, accountability, and delegation skills
- Supports shared governance and unit-based decision‑making
- Proficient in basic computer use and clinical documentation systems
