Define the Patient Care Experience

Patient Registrar – Full Time | Day Flex | Queens
Register patients for a variety of procedures and appointments while going above and beyond to support their needs. In this role, you will obtain demographic and insurance information, including referrals, pre‑certifications and authorizations, ensure accurate scheduling, and answer high‑volume phone lines.
Location
This position is based at our Adult Ambulatory Care Center, located at
182‑19 Horace Harding Expressway, Fresh Meadows, NY 11365.
Schedule
Monday–Friday, 8‑hour shifts 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (M, T, W and F)
Thursdays 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Hours may change based on the operational needs of the center.
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED
Experience with Epic (required)
1–3 years of experience in medical clinic or practice scheduling, including insurance referrals, pre‑certification and authorization
Ability to manage high‑volume inbound calls and answer busy phone lines
Exceptional customer service, planning, and organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with health insurance requirements and clinical coding
Bilingual in Mandarin and Cantonese
Bilingual in Spanish
