The Role
We are seeking a Senior HRIS Analyst with strong expertise in Workday and a proven background in talent acquisition technology to join our growing HR team. This role will serve as a key technical and functional point-of-contact for Workday, supporting the maintenance, optimization, and compliance of our HRIS ecosystem. You’ll work cross-functionally with HR, Talent, and IT to ensure clean data, seamless processes, and actionable insights across all aspects of the employee lifecycle.
This position plays a critical role in supporting end-users, maintaining system integrity, developing reports, and providing strategic input on system enhancements. While your scope will be broad, there will be a strong focus on recruiting, onboarding, and goal management workflows.
Responsibilities
Act as primary support for HRIS (Workday) operations, including system troubleshooting, data integrity, user support, and testing of system changes.
Serve as the go-to resource for Learning Management Solutions, compensation, and benefits.
Write, maintain, and enhance a variety of reports and dashboards (PTO, employee roster, headcount, etc.) using Workday reporting tools.
Conduct regular audits and partner with HR and payroll to ensure data accuracy and process compliance.
Create and maintain user guides, training materials, and SOPs for HR systems and self-service tools.
Provide day-to-day support and training to both internal HR teams and external users across the business.
Monitor and manage employee workflows and change transactions within Workday, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
Support Workday configuration and assist with small-scale projects or system upgrades as assigned.
Requirements
Minimum of 7+ years of direct HRIS experience, including 3+ years with Workday
1–2 years of experience in business analysis or project management roles
Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
Solid understanding of advanced compensation, benefits
Strong analytical skills with experience in reporting and data validation
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
Onboarding experience strongly preferred
Experience supporting compliance-related workflows (e.g., I-9s, background checks, EEO)
Previous involvement in HR system implementations or optimization projects
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage competing priorities
Adaptable and collaborative team player
Location
This role is hybrid, in our Los Angeles office.
Compensation
The annual base salary for this position is in the range of $125,000 – $145,000 in Los Angeles, CA. This position is also eligible for benefits and a discretionary bonus. Ultimately, the salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in the role, business sector, and geographic location, among other criteria.
