This Senior Talent Acquisition role supports a dynamic, high‑volume healthcare organization and is a great fit for a recruiter who enjoys a fast pace, meaningful variety, and close partnership with leaders. We’re especially excited about Colorado‑based candidates who bring recent healthcare recruiting experience, hands‑on ATS expertise, and/or physician recruitment experience, and who value teamwork, collaboration, and being part of a genuinely supportive, people‑first culture.
 
This is a remote hybrid position in Colorado. Specific days in the office are not required, but the incumbent is expected to be available for on-site meetings periodically throughout the year within Eagle and Summit Counties.
 
About the opportunity:

The Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist has responsibility for managing the full life-cycle recruitment process for Vail Health. The Senior Specialist is associated with attracting, assessing, and selecting top talent. The Senior Specialist will develop, plan and executes strategies and activities to accomplish business objectives related to recruitment and selection decisions.

What you will do:
    1. Develops, executes and plans strategies to accomplish business objectives related to recruiting in conjunction with management. Helps determine recruitment strategy and advises on content of advertising campaigns.
    2. Utilizes recruiting avenues such as candidate sourcing, job fairs, open houses, social networking to attract top talent.
    3. Manages selection process to include interviewing, assessing candidates and recommending finalists; providing guidance and training to management and peer panels for optimum candidate selection and improved retention.
    4. Develops partnerships with academic institutions and community partnerships to build continuous pipelines.
    5. Supports Travelers, Students and other programs across the organization.
    6. Maintains Applicant Tracking System (ATS) with appropriate status updates and notes on applicants. Assists with job posting and advertisement processes.
    7. Partners with department leaders on compensation related matters such as offers, promotions, and internal transfers.
    8. Leads and implements change through fostering a collaborative and problem-solving environment.  Work independently and in a team environment.
    9. Builds rapport with prospective candidates; creating a candidate-centric relationship.

What you will need:
 
Experience:
  • 5 years of recruitment experience
    • Recent healthcare environment preferred.
Certification(s):
  • Certified Recruiter by Lean Human Capital preferred.
  • SHRM or PHR Certification preferred
Education:
  • Bachelor's degree preferred

The posted salary range for this position is the anticipated hiring range in Colorado and will be adjusted based on geographic location. Vail Health considers a variety of factors in making compensation decisions which influence the offer a candidate receives.

Yearly pay:
$74,297.60$102,502.40 USD
