Northrop Grumman’s Chief Information and Digital Office (CIDO) is seeking a Software Application Administrator/Analyst to support the classified programs on the Roy, UT campus.

Note: Due to the classified nature of the work being performed, this position does not offer any virtual or telecommute working options. Applicants are encouraged to apply, only if they are willing to work on-site.

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Deploy, research, support, customize, and maintain the suite of Commercial, Engineering and Open-Source applications.

  • Maintain strong expertise and knowledge of current and emerging technologies and products.

  • Provide best practice, recommendations and guidance to manage SSLM operations at scale

  • Ability to implement a configuration management solution

  • Scripting for DevOps processes

  • Server Configuration

  • CI/CD Automation

  • Docker container deployment

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of two (2) years of related experience OR Master's degree w/ zero (0) years of related experience

  • Candidates must have the ability to obtain a US Government Secret level security clearance as a condition of continued employment

  • Candidates must have the ability to obtain, and maintain, access to Special Programs as a condition of continued employment

  • Must possess a Security+ (or greater) security certification or have the ability to obtain in 90 day from start date.

  • Experience with Windows and UNIX/Linux operating systems

  • Experience with Server/Client SW installation

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Active US Government Secret, Top Secret, SCI, SAP/SAR access, or Polygraph

  • Active Security+ security certification

  • Large user bases, multi-server multi-node or client/server type apps

  • Experience with Atlassian Suite

  • Understanding of software INI, UDV, SQL libraries and familiarity with version control systems like Git/Bitbucket

  • MCM (previously called SCCM/MECM) experience highly desired

  • Experience creating software packages and deployment of Software packages

  • Load Balancers: Apache, HA Proxy experience desired

  • Exposure to web-based software development or operations

  • Exposure to Cloud technologies

  • Have a broad understanding of development, web operations, SDLC, etc.

  • Ability to work well in a team environment

  • Scripting languages: python, PowerShell, or JavaScript

  • Experience with Postgres and MS SQL Server desired

  • Experience with VDI and Appstack Creation

  • Excellent communication skills

Primary Level Salary Range: $79,300.00 - $118,900.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
