Lightspeed is looking for Field Sales Account Executives in Montpellier. As Field Sales Account Executive in the South of France, you will have the exciting opportunity to join our recently hired Field Sales Team Lead in building a high-performing team. You will be implementing a strategy that requires a physical presence across Montpellier, actively driving the sales cycle each month - from lead generation to demonstrations to closing deals. Your mission will be to expand our presence, drive regional success, and contribute to Lightspeed’s long-term impact in this key market.
Lightspeed’s Hospitality team is now in hyper-growth mode. Our process has been refined and optimised at a smaller scale in the last few years, now is the time to expand our team and our reach.

What you’ll be doing:
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the Montpellier hospitality industry to spot trends and opportunities.
- Leverage market research and insights to shape effective territory sales plans.
- Engage prospects through high-velocity in-person meetings, outreach, and tailored presentations to convert them into loyal customers.
- Lead your territory with an entrepreneurial mindset, delivering consistent revenue growth.
- Guide clients from needs analysis and solution design through proposals, contract agreements, and seamless onboarding.
- Deliver engaging presentations showcasing Lightspeed’s POS and hospitality technology suite.
- Keep Salesforce data precise and current to streamline reporting and forecasting.
- Drive outbound initiatives and attend industry events to expand qualified leads.
- Provide customer feedback to sales and marketing teams to refine strategies and achieve collective targets.
What you’ll be bringing:
- Proven experience in the field and outbound sales, ideally within solution-based, technology, or hospitality environments.
- Strong understanding of the hospitality industry, including key segments and operational considerations.
- Skilled in sales development best practice - building pipelines, territory planning, and driving new business with strong organisational ability.
- Demonstrated success in achieving or exceeding sales targets, contributing to wider regional growth goals.
- Experienced in using Salesforce or similar CRM systems to manage opportunities and track performance.
- Confident communicator with excellent customer relationship and interpersonal skills.
- Analytical mindset with a data-driven approach to decision-making and performance improvement.
- Entrepreneurial and adaptable - proactive, agile, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
- Fluency in French and English
